The general objective is to evaluate the existing conditions, both within the flooding areas and the wider catchments, and identify the most effective solutions to alleviate these problems in the foreseeable future.The size of the catchments under study varies between 0.3 and 26.5km\u00b2. The total area of the catchments that have been analysed in all seven sites is approximately 110km\u00b2.Drainage networks have been proposed in nine cases, aiming mainly to solve problems of low lying areas within the settlements.
