The extent of the studied area was about 71 ha and the average elevation was at +670 m. The total study included: (a) preliminary and detailed design of main and access roads of the IA, (b) preliminary and detailed design of water supply network of the IA, (c) preliminary and detailed design of the sewerage and storm networks of the IA and (d) preliminary design of the WWTP installation.The design of the above networks was followed by redesign of local or regional urban planning on existing or new infrastructure facilities of the project&#8217;s area.  Sewerage network was designed by separating the total study area into four (4) zones (sections) and the PVC pipes designed in lengths 127 m for D700, 137 m for D800, 185 m for D1000 and 379 m for D1200. Secondary sewerage network was designed with PVC pipes, series 41 and diameter D500. WWTP installation was implemented at the boundaries of the south side of the IA and designed to accommodate the higher organic strength and solids content in the water.<br \/>\nThe industrial area (IA) of Kozani town is located about 6.5 km east of the town.
