The project involed the design of the water drainage system of the part of the new national road to Tsakona that was redesigned after the geological and geotechnical failure that caused the closure of the road. The new design of the road was altered involving a new tunnel and a valley bridge. Z&A was responsible for the hydraulic design of the project which included the water drainage system of the road and the storm water sewerage to prevent flooding from upstream catchments along with the design of the necessary hydraulic structures (ditches, culverts, etc).
