Established as one of Greece’s most experienced consulting firms in the water sector, Z&A S.A. has a long-standing history in civil and environmental engineering. Originally founded as K. Zeris – P. Antonaropoulos and Associates Ltd in 1990, our origins trace back to the 1960s, when founder Konstantinos Zeris began his journey in consulting engineering. In 2004, the firm was restructured and rebranded as Z&A S.A., with Panos Antonaropoulos becoming the principal shareholder.
Initially, Z&A focused on projects within the Greek public sector, building specialized expertise in hydraulic engineering. Since 2004, we have expanded our reach globally, providing innovative, sustainable, and efficient water management solutions across a diverse range of countries, including Cyprus, Rwanda, Kenya, Ethiopia, Tanzania, Zambia, Mauritius, Uganda, South Sudan, Yemen, India, and, more recently, Zimbabwe.
Over the years, Z&A has combined local knowledge with international best practices, forming collaborative partnerships with major European consulting firms. Our project experience spans tenders and studies funded by the European Union, the World Bank, the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC), the European Commission, the French Development Agency, the African Development Bank, and more. Through these collaborations, Z&A has established itself as Greece’s leading consulting engineering firm in environmental technology and water management on a European scale.
