Feasibility study of water and wastewater treatment plant sludge reuse

This project will help AAWSA to assess the upcoming problem of sludge disposal and to organize the required financial and technical future actions. The assignment focused on a)the assessment of the volume of sludge production at different water and waste water treatment plants in Addis Ababa, b) the preparation of conceptual engineering designs and estimated costs for disposal and reuse of sludge, c) the analysis of the technical and financial and economic feasibility of the proposed project, d) the preparation of a Preliminary study and Tender documents, e) the analysis of Risks and Assumptions Affecting the Execution of the Project, f) the conduct of ESIA on sludge management and reuse and the g) Review of existing designs and studies.
