The Chrysochous town is located 25km north of Paphos, on the northwestern coast of Cyprus. It is a tourist area, which, apart from the main urban fabric that has developed on a hill, the town extends along the coastal front in the east to Latsi beach, up to the new village in the west. The scope of the Contract includes the preparation of the required design studies for the sewage and rainwater collection network in the area of the Municipality of Chrysochous, the assessment of the environmental impacts for the disposal of recycled water, the preparation of Tender Documents for the construction Contracts, the preparation of Tender Documents for the Design, Construc-tion, Operation and Maintenance of the Treatment Plant and the Supervision of all the above construction works, until the end of the liability period for defects. The estimated population (2065) will be 55,667.
The characteristic of the network designed are the following:
Sewerage network: 53.11 Km, PVC DN200 – DN500, HDPE DN63 to DN450, 14 Pumping Station (Average annual benefit 14.886 m3/d)
Stormwater Network: 22.1 Km, DN250 – DN1500, Maximum Culvert Dimension: 2.15 X 1.25
